We know too much.
We think too much.
We analyze too much.
And fuck up the simplest thing in the world.. Love.

I love talking about love. Thinking about it. Being in it.
I was born to be in love and love someone. It inspires me and makes me better at everything else in my life.
I don't expect too much out of it. I expect it to last. I expect to feel it.
I just don't want to compromise when it comes to the feeling.

Yet I have this nagging suspicion that our generation has become too aware to be in Love or to fall for someone crazily and move the whole creation just so they can be with them..

Our generation is too practical too logical and too concerned about their own convenience to fall in love in a crazy way. So they love (or think they love) someone in the same city even if they know that this is not it. They know that there was this person they know who is just the person they wanted but she/he is too far you see and who wants a long distance... Can you beat that! In an age of Internet, Facebook, cellphones people are concerned about distance..

There is no desire to actually do something about the distance and still be with the one they love. There is a constant fear that if they make the effort and it doesnt work out then they would have watsed so much time. And so we just let go. Because we are too smart to be in Love. We have other things on our mind.

Our kind of LOve is convenient love.

do u know tat "man"? how many hours u have talked to him? There are people falling in love and then staying together forever. But i guess friendship is the first step to love. friendship simply decreases the mutual gap. u know what the other person likes to eat, what he/she wants 20 years from now, etc. Besides love is just a volatile feeling. Friendship is forever.

I guess you dont like anonymous people. Honestly I liked your words. So I followed you again. But I am not a blogger. And even if I disclose myself how will you know who I am? or do I know who you are. That is the beauty of internet. Anonymously, you solve problems in your own heart. - Anom

is love so difficult? I mean you said you know him. But do you really think he "knows" you? - Anom

Just because you are friends with someone does not mean you will love him/her. Simply knowing is not enough. Love has that something extra spark, that you do not feel with anyone else...even with your closest friend.

Yes I agree! love needs a spark and a moment is enough to get in! I agree!

But how do u realize and bring tat love from imagination to reality! I believe talking, making friendship is essential! So that you know this actually is a diamond or just a sparkling piece of stone!

Do you know what I did when I happened to fall in love for the first time - wrote anonymous emails making sure that in the emails I mention that I know her well and I am someone around her - she replied and.... - Anom

Don't be so harsh on yourself! Lolz. If you are talking about being practical in love, my bf will have nothing of it! It is true though...we take the convenient route most of the times!

haha.. i think mr. anom is trying to tell you something, zephyr. especially with his lil anecdote about his first time in love. in any case, my apologies; i'm in a cynical state of mind right now. yeah, sure, love's great n all. but mr. anom has put forward the proposition of friendship before love, so i'll look at that. from experience (mine and too many others') i believe that you might conceivably be friends before you fall in love, but you are not friends once you both are in love, and you can only on rare occasions be friends when either or both of you fall out of love. maybe it makes sense to skip the friendship part, that way when you break up (notice the use of the word 'when' and not 'if'), atleast the only thing you'll have lost is the love of your life, for the time s/he was in your life :)

hey no new post?? and also d last post has been edited...okay

Maybe he is growing risk averse because he had multiple rejections...maybe even in childhood

see if I was him, I will take the risk only if he feels that u may try to hold his hand...maybe he just wants to talk to you....for few hours to make him feel comfortable with someone glamourous like you...maybe he is not the encroaching types...

does he know that you are willing to consider him as one of the multiple options you have??? In that case he may disclose all his problems.....and if these problems are unsolvable.....you may depart on a friendly note.....have you every tried to invite him in your world atleast for any stupid reason...?? have you tried forwarding emails?

maybe he needs more love than you but is not able to express...

Because probably he thinks you are "hot" and have good options - so you know precisely whom and what you want....Maybe hence he is just feeling rejected...maybe he is just lonely...

why dont you just write an anonymous email exploding all your feelings...all your anger...all your waiting....

Maybe he has changed and not the same as earlier.....he might just not be taking the initiative because he knows you can have someone better....maybe he is growing old and needs a friend and not necessarily a girlfriend!

A small suggestion - just talk...dont be so punitive...he will come to your city or take you to his or even to mooncity bt somewhere you also have to take a risk! It is a two way thing!-Anom
